Thanks to Pacific Steel Casting Company LLC

November 29, 2016 | Peter Hosemann, PhD

Today a group of 20 students visited the Pacific Steel Casting Company LLC in Berkeley since 1934. We were able to witness the processes from computer simulation to the final steel product including the pouring of stainless steel components. We want to thank Pacific Steel Casting Company and our hosts (Lalit Anand; Jorge Costa; David Droesch; Tim Thulasiraman; Ericka Ledesma ) for the fantastic tour and allowing us to learn first hand what it takes to produce high quality casting products right here in Berkeley.
